Maddie's 1st Christmas!

Maddie went on her first trip to Indiana the week before Christmas to meet lots of relatives. Her Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles were so excited to see her again. Her Aunt Mindy graduated from IU that weekend too!When we left to drive home, it was only 4 degrees outside! Brrrrr!

Her first Christmas was a blast!She got some great toys, baby dolls and a new Exersaucer that she can stand in to play.She LOVES it! She feels like a big girl when she stands on her own to play.

Maddie is now eating rice cereal regularly and loves to make a big mess! She is 5 months old now...

4 months old/Santa

Maddie is now 16lbs and 7oz.She is off the charts in height at 25 1/4 inches(just like her Daddy!).She had her Grandpa come visit from Indiana last week and we went to the new Aquarium.She loved it! Also, she got to see Santa and give him her 1st list. I think he might be bringing her an Exersaucer along with a few other cool toys...shhh. Maddie also tried rice cereal for the first time recently. Note the messy face!

Almost 4 months old!

Maddie goes for her 4 month old check up soon.She is learning to grab onto toys and plays in her play gym often.She loves it!These photos show her wearing her first pair of jeans and overalls. The last picture is of Maddie and her friend Hannah Chambers eating at Maggiano's.

Maddie's 1st Halloween

Hi again,

Maddie really enjoyed her first "trick or treat".She got to go out in the stroller and show off her kitty costume to all the neighbors. Gus and Murphy really "enjoyed" dressing up as well. Don't they look happy? I couldn't resist!

Maddie is three months old!

Madilyn is now three months old already!Time flies! She is getting ready for her first Halloween next weekend.She has several spooky outfits to wear until she is ready for her costume. She weighed 13lbs 8oz last week and is still growing fast in the 90th percentile in every category.I think she is taking after her Daddy!

Recently her big cousin Drew came down from Indiana to see her.Check out the family photo!

Maddies brother Gus is ready for Halloween too! He really loooooves his Bee outfit.Can't you tell?

Maddie Update

Maddie had her two month check up last Friday.She now weighs 12 lbs 12oz and is 22 1/2 inches long.She is doing really well and looking cute in all of her pink outfits.She now smiles back at you and enjoys watching her animal mobile over the crib.She gets really excited and kicks her legs.Its fun too watch her play!

Maddie's Latest Adventures

Maddie is growing quickly! She is seven weeks old.Her last weight check was 11lbs 14oz this week! Some pictures I added are of her with first friend Hannah watching the Auburn football game. Another one shows her smiling!Thats her latest trick-you smile and she will smile back!Its so wonderful! There is also a photo of her in her "tax break" shirt that some of our friends made for her. They must have found out the "real" reason we are having children.Shhhhh....:)

Maddie got her picture taken at Babies'r'us this week.She did great!She even held her own head up for them! It was quite an exhausting experience.She had to take a break half way through to drink a bottle, but she made it. Its a rough life as a super model...

Maddie One Month Dr Appt Update

Hi All,
Maddie had her one month check up today! She is growing up fast! She weighed 9lbs and 15oz!!!!That means she has gained over 3 lbs already.The Doc said she looks great and everything went very well.She goes back again in a month for her shots(Daddy can come along for that one-I don't want to take all the blame).

Also, Maddie and I just had our first big adventure out alone to the grocery store.She did very well. Shopping wil never be the same with a baby carrier and diaper bag...slows you down a bit! But, thats ok...she is worth it!

Maddie is now three weeks old!She is growing quickly! Thanks for all of your wonderful cards and cute pink outfits.The yellow and green ones have quickly been outnumbered in the closet. :)

Here are some pictures from her big adventures this week...bath time, playing on the couch and feeding.Oh...and occasinally sleeping but mostly during the day.Apparently its more fun to sleep during the day! Who would have thought so???
