One week until Santa comes! Maddie has been having fun checking out her Christmas tree and doing her best to stay out of the packages.Here are some cute moments...she loves to feed her baby dolls and then put them all in her pink chair at the same time. Gus and Murphy are her two best friends.She learned to say "murphy" this week and "cheese". More pictures to follow after Santa comes to town.

Oops!Time flies...and I have been slacking on the posts.Sorry!

Maddie had a funny Halloween as a chicken and ate her first chocolate bar ever, had her first hair cut, went to the mountains and had a BLAST, and is now getting ready for a very exciting Christmas. Stay tuned for more info as Santa's visit is approaching fast...

Maddie's New Cousin

We have a new addition to the family! Maddie's Aunt Amanda and Uncle Sean had a baby boy last week named Jude Steven Hanna.He is beautiful! His website is: http://jshanna.blogspot.com/ . Here are a few photo's from the hospital when he was just a few hours old!

September 2006

Madilyn is growing so fast...she claps, dances by spinning in a circle, and says "Gus" very clearly(AND often AND loudly-poor dog!). She can show you where her eyes and feet are located.She loves to go outside and explore the yard each day.

She has started going to "school" two days a week.She goes to the church pre-school and is making new friends.She just brought home her first finger painted artwork for the frig. :)

Maddie's new boy cousin will be born anyday now. More details soon once he arrives...

Family Trip to the Beach 2006

Maddie got to meet up with her cousin Drew over at Myrtle Beach for a week this summer.They had a great time swimming and playing in the sand.Drew gives good hugs!

Uncle Josh, Aunt Brook and Aunt Amanda were all there.We even had aother birthday celebration for both kids. It was a blast!

1st Birthday!

Madilyn is now a one year old! She is more like a kid then a baby each day.She walks, waves bye-bye, claps and eats "real" food.She loves cheese sandwiches, fruit and lots of veggies.Hope that sticks for awhile.She really loved diving face first into her cake and I mean literally!

Maddie walks AND goes to North Carolina...

Maddie is walking!She took her first steps around Father's Day and is now walking all the way across the room, around the corner, into the pantry, and more.We are all very busy keeping up with her. Here a picture of her walking in her "Fourth of July" dress.

She also made her first trip to see friends in North Carolina.She had a blast playing with the "big" kids.She got to turn her car seat around now that she is almost one year old.So, watching DVD's on the way home was just "too cool". She did very well on the car ride now that she has some extra entertainemnt.Thank God for Baby Einstein!

June 2006

Madilyn is exploring everything! She doesn't like when you tell her "no".It's just not fair that we won't let her climb stairs!

She is now eating cheese sandwiches, yougurt and all sorts of "big girl" foods. Where did these last 11 months go?





Her Aunt Amanda and Uncle Sean are expecting a baby boy!He will join the family this fall-due date is October 4th! So, she is looking forward to playing barbies and GI Joe's with him soon... :)
